Susie Rich

Mrs. Susie Smoot Rich was born in Florence County a daughter of the late Abraham and Dorothy Connerly Smoot. She died Sunday April 10th in McLeod Hospital, after an illness. She was a graduate of Wilson High School. She was employed with Com-mander Nursing Home for 23 years until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of the home, Mr. Randy Rich; two sons, Christopher Connerly (Maria McCain), Elijah Smoot, both of the home; one sister, Alice Smoot; three brothers, Leroy Connerly (Janet), James Smoot (Evelyn), and John Smoot (Charanda), all of Florence, and a best friend, Lisa Smith.
