John Ervin Dowe was born on March 6, 1967 in Clarendon County, SC ( Summerton) to the late Mr. Cubbie Lee & Ms.Lula Mae Dowe.

John departed this earthly life on Sunday September 28, 2014 after a brief illness.

John received his education in the Public Schools of Clarendon County, S.C. At an early age, John became a member of the St. Matthews A.M.E. Church in Davis Station, S.C

John was employed by various Landscaping companies until his health decline. John was a fun and lovable person to be around. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

John was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Iarlene Dowe Bracey, Darlene Dowe

Two brothers; Evon Dowe and Levan Dowe.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters; Sharon Barno of Sumter, S.C, Lille Bell ( Michael ) Johnson of Columbia,S.C

Three brothers Curtis Lee Dowe of Columbia, S.C Kary Dowe of Conway,S.C

Odell Dowe of Manning,S.C. One brother in law Richard Bracey of Summerton, SC. A special friend who he called a sister, Carolyn Davis of Sumter, S.C. A host of aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews and relatives and friends.
